I'm trying to write a script to export animations with interpolation curves from Blender, but I've run into a problem. The converter I'm using to switch between programs takes rotations as quaternion rotations, but the target program(the one I want to convert animations for) uses Euler, and Blender splits up all of its rotations into multiple curves for every axis. This fundamentally won't work out since I can't register quaternion rotation in the target program and keep the interpolation curves for each quat rotation. Converting 4 quaternion beziers into 3 Euler curves(much less one) would require math that I'm sure is well beyond me and probably isn't even really possible(at least not with the level of accuracy required for compositing).
Complicated stuff aside, is there any way to get Blender to register rotation interpolation using only one curve for the entire rotation? That would make things easier on me.
I've thought of possibly registering the rotations as Euler, then converting each X/Y/Z axis rotation to Quaternion(using 0s for the blank axes) and back, but I'm not sure if that will add up properly after converting back to Euler, but I'm kind of out of ideas for a solution other than that that will allow me to preserve the interpolation curves.

Hello Reddit! My name is HighSchoolHero, and I am working on an animated movie called "Good Morning, Uprising!" Also commonly codenamed The GMU Project, it's an animated Minecraft film made in Blender and Verse (read on).
Well, Verse changes everything. QuelSolaar Verse allows multiple different 3D modeling softwares to work simultaneously on the same project. Such as a guy in 3DSMax editing a cube, along with another in Maya, or C4D, Blender, etc.
Anywho, the story is still the same. A boy is caught in the middle of a war between two secret societies after his caretaker is kidnapped. The jobs, however, are really different. Seeing how now using Blender (we switched, and then returned) along with Verse, we can do a lot more, but we need a lot more people! So, why waste time, so here's the jobs! Jobs (Non-Maya)
Scriptor* (Needed most!) - Works on the script for the movie.
Voice Actor* - Completes lines for characters in the film.
(Maya-related) Rigger - Completes rigging
Animating - Animates the rigs
Lighting - Adjusts lighting of scenery
Compositor - Enchances imagery
Lipsynchers - Aligns mouth animations to audio.
Anyway, guys, that's my job offer. Please note this is entirly voluntary, but you will be appropriatly accredited! Thanks for reading! -HSH
Scriptor - A valid GMAIL, so you can be added to the GDoc.
Voice Actor - A CastingCall account.
