Can someone help me with L4D2 Authorising Tools? I am trying to create a window with window frame, but all the entities on the entity menu are unable to be scaled, so appear much larger than the structure I am building. Also, I cannot seem to find any tutorials for window frame creation (as in to produce a detailed frame with shading and such). If anyone could help me, it would be absolutely great, and make my night.

Has anyone here ever looked into the previz employment market? I am considering it, and I was wondering what tools are being used by the pros, and what people that hire for previz expect you to know. Is previz usually just down with something like Maya playblasts? I hear a lot of people looking toward things like Unreal Engine and other real time tools for it, at least in the near future. What about iClone? It's actually marketed toward previz artists, but I don't know how often it's used in actual productions. >pic unrelated

Okay /3/ what the fuck. https://www.gnomon.edu/programs/entertainment-design-digital-production/modeling-texturing Gnomon and their Modeling and Texturing course DOES NOT EVEN TOUCH Maya until after a year of 2D. Hello /3/ Im a newbie in 3dsmax and I dont know how to fix this issue, lets see if you guys can help me. 1 - I have this edge (A) and I want to chamfer it. 2 - Right button, Convert to Editable poly 3 - Select the edge, Chamfer and.. this is what happens (B). It does chamfer but somehow it gets inverted at some point and it ends backwards. Is there any quick fix or something for this? Thanks in advance

I've installed the Open EXR plugin, and all I get is a black frame when I import. With and without the plugin. I've tried searching around forums and such, but I haven't found any concrete answers apart from "huh that's weird, works for me!" type shit. Any help?

How would I go about replicating this effect of the light on the water in Blender? I'm relatively noobish in Blender, but I'm trying to make a skybox for a game with a city across a bay. It would be a still image, but I don't know if it would be done by modelling the surface of the water, or by applying a material to a flat plane, if that's even possible.

hey /3/ anyone got some experience with this? I have to make an animation of a character wearing mostly soft material. The way I see it the main options are 1. sculpting the folds manually - would look shitty because there is no movement 2. using simulations - but those are glitchy and by far not as detailed Are there any other options like .. manually animating/shaping the folds for frames like you would facial expressions or combining sculpt and simulation Maybe I'm missing something or you got a creative fix for this. thanks
