I have these artifacts in Substance Painter, I dont know if its my model or substance itself. I have already tried to retopo these areas, but if I generate new normal maps and import it once again, these artifacts are on other places on the model I have gtx 970 EX OC so it shouldnt be my hardware

Let's say I have a high-poly face mesh, made in Zbrush, with several blendshapes. I want to get this into a game, so I need to retopologise it into an optimised mesh. How the hell am I supposed to get the optimised mesh to have the same blendshapes? Short of just snapping each vertex of the new mesh to the surface of the high-poly model? Can someone share the workflow on this?

Hi everyone! I was browsing the web for hockey 3d models and I remembered I came across one a few years ago of the player from the pic made by a guy named AA3D on Deviantart. I tried to track him down, but his DA account has been taken down. This is a real longshot,but I was wondering if there's anyone who could help me either contact him for a commission or who was the recipient of his model (I'm assuming it was for a commission, I believe that's what he posted on DA). I've got some questions about the model itself as well. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Topology! I'm learning it for the first time and I just dont really know where to start! Thinking so far ahead to rigging to animation I just dont know either very well so its like how do I get this down right the first time so I dont find out down the road I fucked it all up? This model here, this bowser one I want to rig it but Im not sure if I should make the shell separate should I put him in a t pose before rigging? Should I make it all one group? What is the best way to model clothes for a video game character for a RPG type, (where you are supposed to change your attire)? How is the mesh supposed to be? Do you make a naked body, and "dress" it with clothes over (layering the meshes) or do you separate parts (say a head, a torso, and legs) and remove the naked "torso" mesh to replace with a T-shirt mesh for example?

What's the best way for me to remesh a (low-poly, 861 tris) model in Max? I was going to go with Mudbox and sculpt it again, but I'm shit with sculpting. Also, I tried using NURBS to tesselate it somehow, but it didn't work. Ideas?

I started doing some freelance for the company and they need to render their products in office environment and such so I told them I could quickly model the environments and put their stuff in there. I had a huge archive of different models from evermotion and dosch and others for a long time, which I got from perisa and torrents and I regularly used those models for freelance purposes. My question is - how possible is for evermotion for example to see their models at some random company's website and to ask them if these models in the image were actually bought from them? Considering that I'm independent contractor but I never did it before, I wonder if they are even able to tell if their models were used anywhere by looking at the images?
