How does /3/ feel about Full Sail? I ask because my friend and I intend to go after I get out of junior college (myself for computer animation and him for game design) and that's a shit-ton of money, but they always get high marks from reviews. Reviews could be very biased, so I want some type of actual opinions on it. Also, it's worth mentioning I have practically no experience outside of some messing around in Blender and 3D-Coat.

Hey, /3/, are there any Blender sculpting/modeling videos that aren't terrible (in either process, explanation, or final product)? I just put together a new computer and I can't be assed to get Maya or Max just yet. Seems as good a time as any to at least mess around with Blender. Hey /3/, I'm trying to get into modeling for skyrim. Everything looks good up until I load up the game and this happens. I'm using 3dsmax and I'm importing the models into nifscope from the .obj file format. I'm just replacing models right now until I get a better handle on how this all works. I asked the skyrim /vg/ general about it but ignored me for the most part.

Tried using xNormal and Max to bake normal maps. They don't work in tangent space but in local xyz. What am I doing wrong ? I need tangent space for game engines right ? Pic related, seems to be working perfectly in local xyz.

Hey \3\. I'm looking to make a very large space battle scene in 3dsmax similar to pic related. The scene will contain lots of high poly multi-kilometer ships and also small fighter craft 2-10m large. I've done a lot of scenes and models for max and even dabbled in character animation a bit, but nothing to this scale. Last time I tried to play around on a large scale max went berserk and eventually crashed. What units should I use for something like this and more importantly how could I keep the scale reasonable enough for max to handle but still large enough for the scene? Any other tips or tricks to how one would go about doing this would also be really helpful
