So, hi /3/, I've been trying to learn zbrush and for the love of my life can't figure out what probably is a very simple thing. I'm trying to export normal/displacement maps from a sculpted plane and it's coming out all wrong, the disp map is empty and the normal map is scaled down so it doesn't match the UVs, pic related.
Here's what I'm doing exactly
>export a plane with UVs from 3ds (I need specific dimensions) and import it as a tool in zbrush
>subdivide it a few times with smoothing off and sculpt a bit on it, nothing crazy or very shape-changing
>go back to the lowest subdiv level
>click "Create DispMap" and "Create NormalMap"
I've been searching around and looking at related tutorials, but I have no clue how to fix it. pls help
