I have a problem... I nedd to "fill" some "bevels" in a mesh i need to modify. Basically as in the picture (red is before, blue is after) i need to make a flat surface and eliminating those bevels or indentations in the mesh. What is the best way to do this in zbrush or blender? without fucking up the model... I'm pretty new to 3d btw...

I am looking for someone to be my friend/3D modeler for a game I making. I have a 3D engine and know the scripting that engine uses it like unity 3Drad don't laugh it's good if you use scripting a more user friendly unity really. I even have ragdoll psychics sorted with the character able to pick up object move and throw them. Building I don't need so much help as I can use sketch up with nice shaders in the game engine. I have Kien from youtube as a voice actor and she kinda like the anti-nyanners but I think better the nyanners by far. Simple problem most likely, but I can't seem to apply this armature correctly. I've got all the vertex groups selected and named the same as the bones. But any way I try to Ctrl+P the objects together it doesn't work right. Any ideas why it doesn't work?

/3/ I need very quick, very basic help. I have a job to do wich requires very little knowledge of 3D (wich I dont possess). I've been watching begginer level tuts and stuff and I can handle by myself pretty much everything. Only one thing is bothering me. I have imported some curves from Illustrator, one of the shapes is a square inside of another square. When I extrude them, they look like a box inside a box (wich is logical), but I need to turn them into a single thick square. Like in the picture, wich I hope you understand. Just some general pointers will sufice. Thanks in advance.

Hey 3 im doing this commision for a company and part of it includes having a piece of their logo which is circular spinning. so i made the circular piece from a cylinder and the rest of the logo etc. it looks circular in the viewports but when i render it becomes eliptical even from a straight ahead view without perspective on. why the fuck it this? (using 3d max) all i have on it is a turbosmooth, that shouldnt matter cant post a render or say who they are due contract and general professionality respectivly wiling to ponder on your max related questions in return pic not related but generaly usefull.

Hey /3/ A week or so ago, I came her looking for advice on sculpting grass in Mudbox/Zbrush for a figure I've been working on with the intent of having it printed in 3d. After many, many frustrating attempts I just can't get the results I'm looking for; I primarily do hard surface work, not organic. The grass is quite literally the last piece I need to sculpt for the figure before I can have it printed; everything else is done. I was wondering if one of you guys who possess the skills would have pity on me and help out? I've watched countless videos of artist sculpting hair and the like, but I just can't seem to do it. The model isn't for a client and I'm not making money off of it; it's strictly for personal use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a laptop with a 640m and a HD4000. Both perform decent (640m>intel) under sculptris but, after updating my geforce drivers I see that I have a huge slowdown on high poly meshes if I switch to wireframe mode, while running the program with the dedicated card. A closer inspection lead me to believe that the geforce antialiases (?) the edges, while the hd4000 does a quick and dirty render (and thus it performs better in wireframe mode). Fiddling in the card's control panel didn't do nothing. How can i disable aliasing on edges? while not busting my settings for other programs. TL;DR Geforce 640m is slower than intel hd4000 in wireframe mode. What do? (the sculpt is still a wip do don't hit it to hard)
