/an/ help me out here.
I keep waking up with bites.
I thought the most obvious first, great. I have bed bugs. They aren't at all common in my area, but I know it's a possibility. I realized I'm not really a candidate for them, I don't travel, I have no friends over, nor do I visit them. I know that's not always the way to get them, but my boyfriend inspects all furniture at his store for bed bugs, and knows how to look for them and he said I do not have them, nor do I even have a single sign blood stains, carcasses, eggs, or live bugs.
The bites aren't even normal looking to bed bug bites. I know everyone reacts differently, but typically speaking..they aren't normal looking.
I sleep in a basement apartment (family on top, im still younger), and then thought spiders?
But, I mean, they don't bite this constantly?
anyways /an/ what else but bed bugs bite?
I'm getting SO frustrated. I'm itchy all the time.
I have carpeting if there could be something in my carpet doing this.
It only started when colder weather hit.

This sounds so much worse than what happened to Dusty. Admittedly, i'm a bit of a newfag; I don't go on the chans much, but i'm in the right circle of the internet to know a lot about you guys.
Is there anything we can do to help find him/her? As this abuse isn't documented online, i'm not too sure what you guys will be able to come up with, but at the very least we can publicize it. Perhaps one of you will have a genious idea.
Any thoughts? The police are already on it, but we don't want this to turn into a madeline mc-cat style tale. If it falls out of the media...

/an/, please help! I got two rats a few months ago (Starfire and Raven, you might remember them) and One of them is emaciated. Her sister is a normal weight, but she is bony and tiny and weighs nothing. I don't know why and Im very worried. I've been giving her dog kibble with her food, but her sister eats it all. I'm worried sick. What could be wrong with her?
Both rats have always been a little sneezy, but they don't have labored breathing. Thank you

Okay so my aunt who is 70 years old obtained a supposedly 35 year old African Grey from some friend or something. Apparently they treated him like shit and he's been passed off to about 4 other people before this.
I'm going to be visiting them tomorrow and probably some other times as well to see the bird and to give what advice I have, but i'm no expert. I know a bit about birds from owning a parrotlet and all of the info i've gleaned from the internet throughout the years but I don't have experience with a big bird. Problem is she doesn't have internet at her place and doesn't even use the internet so I can't simply give her some helpful websites. What do you guys think would be the most helpful thing to do? I'm worried the bird may end up being too much for her but it sounds like it's in a better place than where it used to be which was with a druggy smoker shit stain.
She does work but only part time and has a room mate which interacts with the bird every day, so at least it isn't alone too much. Is it bad for multiple people to interact with the bird though? I know they bond closely to one person but it sounds like this bird has never had a good owner to begin with.
Don't just tell me to tell her to give it away or something, that could be an option later but for now I simply want to try to educate her as well as I can for both of their benefit. I know how important it is to research before obtaining a pet but this was not my doing. My aunt did buy a book so she does care, she just isn't very bright or informed. As of now all I know is the bird has issues with biting and is on a mostly seed diet. I'm sure there will be other issues as well and I may make another post on it later after seeing them to try to fix any new problems I discover.
I was thinking maybe I'd print out a caresheet of sorts, anyone know the best one or have any advice they could give me so that I may compile it and give it to her?
