Sugar Gliders

Hey all. I recently adopted a beautiful bonded sugar glider pair and I was hoping to get some general tips from the experts... Does anyone know what the best diet for them is? Good ways to bond? Things you wish you knew before you became a pro?

All the decent boards are doing something to send moot off. Take a picture of your pet with a farewell message to moot and we'll zip them up and email them to him or put up an imgur album or something.

Help /an/. I have a snake here who managed to fuck up its face so badly its down to the bone. The tissue looks relatively healthy. What happens to exposed bone exactly? What should I do to try to fix this? Can a vet actually do anything about this? (Theres no way it could be stitched shut) I don't mind going to a vet, but i'd rather not pay a ton of money and then have them basically tell me to keep it clean and see what happens, or say there's nothing that can be done. Any insight?

So I'm looking after someone's cat and it's having problems. See the picture. Over the past week or so it's started doing this whenever it's awake. Like not just short bursts, it's non-stop. I'm telling the owner, but she seems to think what I'm describing is normal considering the cat got hit by a car when it was young, which messed up its hip. I've never looked after a cat before, but is this shit normal or is the owner in denial? Should I say fuck it to her judgement and take it to a vet?

Can we make a qtddtot? My cat loves playing with AA batteries. Is there a similar alternative? She just won't play with the legit cat toys I keep getting her.

New House This Summer

Hey /an/. I have a quick question for those experienced with gardening. Since I am hopefully moving into my own house this summer, I was hoping to grow my own garden. This is not excluded to plants. I live in Michigan and the whether is mild/humid in the summer. What are some appropriate plants I should plant in the beginning of summer?

Does anyone know how much it costs to have a small dog euthanized? I got one around Christmas time thinking it would be fun and easy but it just turned out to be a lot more work than I expected, and I really don't want to have to take care of a dog anymore. Never had to have one put down but I assume I can just go into any vet and ask them to do it for me? Pic isn't my dog but looks kind of like it.

So, cats aren't supposed to be able to taste sweet, but mine go crazy for sweet things. Any time I have anything sweet they go straight for it; donuts, honey buns, some candy I can't remember. They really enjoy anything with flour too- I shared a bean burrito with one of them, and two others also enjoy flour food stuffs. Does anyone else's cats enjoy sweets/flour foods? And why do mine love sweets?

I have serious question to ask you guys Next month my pet rabbit will be 12 years old. In the past year her health has taken a SERIOUS hit. In just 4 months she's gone blind in both eyes and her arthritis has made it too difficult for her to walk, especially in her back legs. There are times when she walk on spots in her cage without any grip because she cleared all the shavings, and just completely falls over because her legs are too weak to support her anymore. I've seen her attempt to scratch her ears but not be able to reach them with her feet so I had to step in a help. It's getting pretty heart breaking watching my sweet little babe of 12 years suffer like this. All she does is sleep all day (at least tries to for most) and I'm wondering what do? Should I just put her down? She can't be happy how she is and I can't bare to watch her like this anymore. This is so depressing anons. I've had her since I was 12 and she was my first and pet :(

Rodent excersise

Is a wheel enough exercise for a regular mouse? I've had mice before, but I was younger, probably too young honestly, and I didn't treat them too well. Now that I'm 23 I want to get one and actually treat it right. And yes, not going to lie, I just want something fuzzy to cuddle when I get home. We only have one dog-that funny enough is terrified of things that squeak-and a cat that is kept out of my room because he just wreks things. Besides things I could find in a basic google search, what's some good things to know about owning a mouse? From your experience, what's the best food for them and things to chew on? I do want to get a young one, because from the past ones I've owned, they were always much easier to handle when I started from young ones.
