Forgive me, I'm new to 4chan and my girlfriend usually posts on here. I decided to post on here because I have a problem and I remember her telling me how helpful people are on her when it comes to animals.
I came to my parents house from college for Thanksgiving Break.
I packed my rats in their cage in the back seat. Mid-way into the trip I noticed they were rusting because part of the cage had come apart from the bottom part, and I tried to clip it back into place (its a bird cage we transformed into a rat cage). In the process, I didn't realize my little girl Nixie has her tail in the way and it got caught. She squealed and screamed and twitcehd around. I quickly lifted the bars back up and she cried a little more and seemed frantic. I climbed back with the cage and examined her tail, it was bleeding. There is a little patch where she was scratched from either herself or from the bars, and the tip of her tail which I assume is what got closed down on. The tip of her tail is dark red and bloody, but not falling off or cut open. I think it was similar to if we closed a door on our finger, the bars are very round and not sharp. She has a little part of the tip that looks like where it closed on it. She was very calm the rest of the ride and hid in her bed. She let me pet her head, but I didn't want to hold her because she was still scared. She seems to be alright, she walks sometimes but mostly wants to sleep. I took her out when we got home and wiped her tail with a warm cloth and applied Neosporin to the tip of her tail.
I want to get help from you all as to what I should do, or if I should be concerned. I can't go out and buy new bedding for them, because my parents aren't too fond of my pets and won't take me to Petsmart and I don't have a car of my own here.
What else should I do to ensure that she recovers fully?
I'm very worried that I may have broken it or caused internal bleeding. I feel terrible.
I'll attach photos of the injury.

Hey guys, one of my friends posted this on facebook.
"I have a favor to ask of you guys: there's a new show set to air in a few days called Killer Karaoke. The producers, crew, and host have all participated in blatant animal cruelty by dropping non-aquatic snakes into a large vat of ice water, to be kicked and thrown around by a frightened show contestant. I urge you all to sign this petition speaking out against the show. As of now, no action has been taken. The producers claim that no animals were harmed, but snakes can be seen floating belly-up in the promotion video and a majority of those snakes will no doubt come down with fatal respiratory infections in a week's time. Again, I urge you to sign the petition. This isn't just about sympathy for reptiles--this is about speaking out against animal abuse on the whole."
I wasn't too certain whether or not this was abuse, besides to me hating Steve-O I watched it and it does seem like the snakes are incredibly stressed and you can see some floating belly up in this video. Is this abuse?

There's a family of Foxes that live in a wooded area near my house, I've seen about 2/3 of them so far.
I know where they live, I want to take them out. I see them at around 1:30, 2:00am prowling the streets. Last night a Badger was cornered under my Dad's car, 2 of the Foxes were trying to get at him. I know, it's nature.
I want to know how to get at these things and kill.
I don't have access to guns. I live in the UK. I don't want to use guns.
Any form of trap I can use? I know where it's hideout is. I'm willing to listen to any advice.
Overated animals that are actually pretty cool.

Animals ruined by over popularity that are actually pretty cool?
I'm going to start with an easy one, wolves.
What you usually hear:
OMG wolves are so majestic and beautiful and strong and powerful and are like, so spiritual and shit. They're like the spirit of the wilderness and are amazing and fast and strong and are way more smart and disease free then dogs! In fact I'm gunna get me a wolf and call him Balto 'cause dogs are shitty and boring and dumb an' wolves are way smarter and more awesome and like, shit rainbows and vomit the majesty of nature.
-Not the most successful predator out there in terms of kill to hunt ratio.
-Not the quickest, most efficient killers. They tear out the belly of their prey and often start eating it alive.
-They do not want to be your special nature buddy.
-They make shitty pets compared to dogs, we've engineered dogs over thousands of years to understand us and work along side us. If you point out the spot with food stashed in it to a tame wolf, it will look at you stupid and go hungry.
-Wolves rely on pack strength, and while a wolf on it's own can definitely be dangerous, it isn't the strongest most scariest predator ever of all time.
Why they are actually pretty cool:
-Intelligent and adaptable
-Have a complex social structure, and work together to achieve things no one animal could accomplish.
-Have been transformed into the domestic dog
-While I wouldn't want to fuck one, I personally think they are beautiful, charismatic looking animals.

My lhasa apso, 10 years old, has had ear infection problems in the past and still does, but recently has developed this case of a severe balding behind both ears, an oozing liquid from her stomach area, and a case of trembling. We have her set to visit the vet but can't get her in until Friday. I'm worried it's something serious.
Thanks in advance
