So my roommate went out of town this week and charged me with taking care of his cat while he's away.
She does not seem to be eating or drinking water and this is cause for quite some concern. She's very reclusive already, despite a very loving owner, but it seems that all she really does is sleep in her various spots (under the bed, in her own little makeshift bed, and under his blankets). I've not seen the water level on her dish change, her food is not getting eaten, I've even been paying special attention to the landscape of her catbox to see if she's even using it while he's away.
Her grooming habits have not changed and she seems as cute and spry as ever, so I don't believe she's actually sick, but merely depressed or anxious.
The cat is not very familiar to me as she's kept seperate from me and my own cat as my cat does not mesh well with others (she too, is prone to anxiety).
I'm not sure what to do, my roommate isn't home for another 2 days and I don't want him coming home to a dehydrated/malnourished cat. I don't really have the transportation or the fundage to take her to the vet, what can I do to try and get her to eat/drink?
