This just happened probably about two hours ago.
I was taking my labradoodle to the local park for a walk, on our way into the trails we passed a playground with a lot of kids. There was a shih-tzu on a leash tied to a tree that was desperately tugging trying to reach the kids. Like jumping up and down, barking, etc. I felt bad and I whipped out my phone and took a quick video to send to friends.
Afterwards I made eye contact with some guy pushing his kid on a swing, but before I could leave another group with a dog came by and started asking about mine, wanting to introduce our dogs. I chatted with them for a little bit when this guy comes up to me and says "Excuse me were you just filming my dog?" I said yes. He continues to yell at me that that isn't okay. I told him it isn't okay for him to tie up his dog like that. He's making a scene and screaming that I can't videotape his animal, him or his son. I just sort of chuckled and said sorry and walked away, but he made me feel really shitty for the rest of the walk.
I just sort of wanted to get that off my chest I guess. I hate that a bad owner actually got to me for once.
