Hello, I don't usually post here but I have had my dog for about a month, It sort of looks like this one.
So far I have spent $190 on getting his nails cut and flea treatment and he still has fleas despite all this money being spent, I don't think I can keep it up.
I am going to shave him today and if he gets fleas again, I will have no choice but to put him down.
Is there any other things I could try before I have to do the worst? Also what is a free painless way to put him down, I can't afford the needles at the moment.

My gf is currently really pissed at me because she thinks she found a lost/stray cat and we didn't take it in because I didn't want to.
So I went to see this cat. If it looked desperate, was in bad shape, had a scruffy coat etc I would have done. But it was healthy, fine glossy coat, strong, bright eyes, just very talkative. It didn't follow us either. We gave it some food [probably shouldn't have done] and it hardly ate any. It was meowing a lot so my gf thought it was asking for help. I asked what other info she had and she said, "it's just a feeling".
Did I do the right thing by leaving this cat?

So... there's this stray cat who lives in the street where I work. She usually keeps her kittens on the roof of my workplace, and usually shows up to check on them, but whenever I try to come near her, she runs away. I want her to let me pet her and come near her. but I have no idea how to do this. I was thinking about bringing some kitty food and treats to work, and see what happens. Any other ideas, /an/?
TLDR: how do I make friends with a stray cat?
Pic related, not her but she's a tuxedo too
