Can somebody identify this succulent for me? I got this and a few other plants but not names. And can anyone tell me if something is wrong with it? When I got it the whole thing was a bright blue like the top of it but now it's a dark purple. I guess this could just be a succulent/cacti general because I have lot's of questions about them

Hi guys, I'm a first-time cat owner and my cat is currently 6 months old and spayed, a few days ago she threw and we kinda dismissed it as 'oh she ate something bad' since it was chunky with food in it. Yesterday she was throwing up really bad but it was just kinda thick like mucus or spit, today she managed to not throw up until a little while ago and it was green and smelled absolutely disgusting as opposed to yesterday. We're calling a vet tomorrow morning and taking her asap. Any other help for her? We got her different cat litter, I know it's not likely, but could it be an issue? We also only give our pets water out of bottles. We also have a chihuahua and nothing has happened to him.

'sup /an/. I got two questions for you. How do you introduce yourself to a dog that doesn't know you? Second, do male dogs always jump female dogs in heat (or not), or can they be friend?

My dog tried to eat a turtle. It has a puncture wound on it's shell and is obviously hurt. It's moving around in circles, I think one of it's legs is broken. Its shell is also cracked. The turtle hasn't moved much in 4 hours. Should I put it out of it's misery? What should I do?

What kind of spider is this?

I found this by my bed and I'm located in western Washington. Is it a brown recluse?

How do I socialize my cat to children when the only kids I know we'll enough to let in my house are my husband's nephews and they are all horrible monsters? They range from 8 to 4 and not one of them have been properly taught how to interact with animals. One even killed a pet chicken without a thought. They still kick and pull the fur from animals so anytime I am forced to watch them they aren't let around my cat. My dog is a GSD so they are afraid enough of him (even though he is a big pity baby) so they leave him alone. They try to go after the cat though and he hisses at them as soon as they walk in the door and hides until they leave. I have to constantly watch them so they don't run after the cat to find them. Wtf am I supposed to do? How do I socialize my cat so when I have kids, he doesn't freak out? I don't watch the boys often enough to break their bad habits. I'd also hate to see what their crazy dad would do to me if I even tried to since he has punched a different cat's head into a wall for lightly scratching one of the boys after he was ripping the cat's fur out.

/an/ help. I was going to the bathroom and one of these nasty bastards was hanging out on the shower curtain. How do I combat this menace without him having the chance to retaliate?

>http://www.pnas.org/content/112/28/8684 >Competition played a more important role in the evolution of the dog family (wolves, foxes, and their relatives) than climate change, shows a new international study. Researchers analyzed over 2000 fossils and revealed that the arrival of felids to North America from Asia had a deadly impact on the diversity of the dog family, contributing to the extinction of as many as 40 of their species. Why did humans domesticate the bottom of the barrel carnivores?

People that sell animals on craigslist make me sick sometimes. Separating a kitten for it mother and siblings at 5 weeks? Isn't that considered animal cruelty? http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/pet/5170787131.html

Last thread is nearly at bump limit: >>1936158 Hypsilurus boydii Boyd's forest dragons spend the majority of their time perched on the trunks of trees, usually at around head height, although daily movements can exceed 100 m (330 ft) on the ground. When approached, they will usually move around to the opposite side of the tree, keeping the trunk between them and their harasser.[6] Unlike most other lizards, Boyd's forest dragons don't bask in the sun, instead letting their body temperature fluctuate with air temperature (thermoconforming rather than thermoregulating). The one possible exception to this general rule is gravid (pregnant) females, which are often observed sitting on or beside forest roads and exhibit elevated body temperatures. Boyd's forest dragons typically commence activity at dawn and cease activity at dusk, remaining active even when it rains. Activity is highly seasonal, all but ceasing during the cooler months, when lizards typically move into the rainforest canopy. Both males and females appear to be territorial, with males defending an area of around 1,000 square metres (0.247 acre). Female territories are smaller, with male territories often containing the territories of more than one female. Hatchlings, juveniles and smaller adults can often be found 'sleeping' at night at the ends of tree branches with their head pointing back towards the trunk.

Is it possible to safely teach a dog to growl/snarl on command without it becoming a problem or potentially dangerous? Like the dogs in these videos. First one doesn't seem safe, second seems well trained. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaxXc8PqaWQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBuzLZ4AgjQ I have no need for it, I like my dogs being as friendly and goofy as can be but I'm just curious.
