Is it okay to feed dog only once a day? He is a 10 months old bichon, and it's such a struggle trying to feed him twice a day. He just isn't interested in eating in the morning. Most people on the internet recommend feeding twice a day, but he only likes to eat between 5-10 pm. Would it be okay to only feed him 5-6 pm every day?

Naughty Cat, Nice Cat

Hey guys, got a question for you all I have two cats, both from the same litter, one is female and the other is male. They're both 10 years old now, neutered/spayed, and are mixed breed (they were rescued from the streets when they were 2 months old or so). The female one can be really annoying sometimes. She'll follow me up to my room and meow at me and scratch my chair. I'll tickle her and she'll respond to it, but once I'm done she'll start meowing and being annoying again. I'll pick her up and put her on my lap, but then most times she'll just jump off and continue to be annoying. Sometimes she stays on and has a bit of a sleep, but only if I put her on my lap. She also never really purs. If she sleeps on my bed she'll sleep further down, and will wake me up in the morning to let her out of my room by either meowing at me or smacking me in the face. The male cat is different. He used to be slightly bity and aggressive, but nowadays he's really nice. He rubs against my legs and hops onto my lap, and never meows. He purs really loudly and tends to stay put. If he sleeps on my bed he'll tend to sleep on top of me, or in the crook of my arms/legs, and he doesn't mind if i wake up a lot later than him. Why are they so different, and why is the female one annoying? Is there some underlying issue with her? How do I correct/fix her behaviour?

I took my dog to the vet today for some vaccinations today. My dog is four years old and I've been taking her to that same vet since she was a puppy. Today, while waiting for the vet to look at my dog, one of the vet techs asked my date of birth. When I asked why they needed it, she just said it was for their records. Anyone know why a vet would care about my age? Also, why would they just start caring now? I've probably taken my dog to that vet six times over the last four years.

I need some identification and help /an/ So there's a bunch of these things in our fenced front yard and when I was repairing a part of our fence, my left arm got scratched by one of these fuckers somewhat. Now my arm is red and slightly puffy at each scratch. Almost like mosquito bites. I've never seen anything like it, so I'm curious, what is this plant and whether it's poisonous? Or is it simply allergy? I mean the latter would be even weirder, because I never had a reaction to anything before this.

Let's say you would put all the nutrients a cat needs in a plant based catfood, would it be harmless? Or does the cat simply need meats since it's carnivorous, and not omnivorous like dogs? I really want a cat but I'm vegan and it would be a little controversial.

Just got a new rosehair, how do you feed these things? Are you supposed to just hold it in front of them? Or should I just put a few crickets in there and let it get them on its own accord? Because I've tried waving a live cricket in front of it and that just seems to scare it

I need advice, /an/ I have a 1 year, 2 month old veiled chameleon that suddenly started hissing at my girlfriend and me any time we go near him. He's always been pretty friendly around people, especially my girlfriend and myself. Why the sudden behavior change? Is he okay? I feed him crickets, he usually eats anywhere from 5-12 a day, give or take 1. I just recently got him a new 2' x 2' x 4' cage, new lights, new stuff to climb on and a huge 6 foot silk tree for him to climb in, which he loves (Pic related, it's his cage and stuff). Before that, he was in a glass 6" x 1' x 2' cage, which was way too small. He doesn't have a dripper or any water system for reptiles, but we make sure his cage stays damp and even give him water by hand with a spray bottle every day. So what's the problem? Is he just overwhelmed? Or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Are women objectively worse dog owners than men? My last two girlfriends have owned particularly neurotic, shitty dogs that demand attention and act threatened by my presence. These women think a stern talking-to is the appropriate way to discipline an animal. The last one would even piss and shit indoors during rainstorms, and its owner accepted it as normal behavior. Meanwhile I have a lab mix who doesn't bark at strangers, is nice to everyone, and doesn't bark like a fucking retard if I shut him out of my bedroom. Why are women so terrible at pets?
