I just received this puppy today. He is a full bred Cocker Spaniel and incredibly cute. However I have some concerns. first off, he was born october 5th which makes him about 10 weeks old. I brought him home today, and hes breathing very rapidly. Im not sure if this is because he is just a puppy, or if hes sick. His stomach seems to be a bit big too (as seen in the picture to the right), is that normal? his upper body isnt as wide as his belly, and not as stiff. I gave him water and Pedigree soft food. He seemed to be hungry and thirsty as heck. He also has a little bit of fleas. Can someone give me some advice on how to check him out to see if hes ill, or if hes just homesick? I have flea medicine, I was wondering if i should put it on him tonight. Also, when can I start bathing him? He does not have shots, I want to take him the day after christmas, is this fine?
I know its a lot of information, but the little dude was thrust upon me and I cant help but to help him. Hes nameless at the moment, so names would be cool.

My dog's stomach is making weird sounds and he's acting really strange all of a sudden. We were gone the whole day yesterday, so I assumed he was hungry, but he didn't eat what I gave him when we got back. What gives?
He is currently trying his hardest to jump in bed with someone in the house, but cannot do so because I closed the door to their room.
He's a small dog.
I was redirected here from /adv/, and I don't really care how many times I need to post this thread, I'm concerned.

hey guys, got a red tailed boa constrictor 3 days ago. but i need help. whenever i take him out, hes cold, really cold. so im thinking my heating set up isnt working all too well... i have a 18"x12" heating pad which is supposed to be at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which is set up below the substrate (newspaper), and i have one of those heat lamps with a 100w heat emitter bulb in it(basically a fancy stove element from what i can tell...). but it seems that no matter what, unless he is 6 inches away from the heat emitter bulb, he feels like an icicle. so im thinking, maybe the cage is too big? its 40 gallons/160 litres. 36"x18"x18", or maybe i need one of those infrared bulbs, would that help? the thermometer says the ambient temp is only 26 degrees Celsius, and these guys need 33 at the most....
also, my humidity is only at 17%, and i need about 50%. any tips n making that work? i have a large water dish at the cool end of the gradient, but it doesnt seem to be doing much...
help guys, i dont want my bro to die on me.
