About 4-5 years ago I was bitten by something in my sleep. It left two marks on my outside right calf, each puncture about 2mm apart. The area around the bite swelled up to about a 7cm diameter at its worst, and stayed inflamed for 3-4 months (gradually shrinking during that time period). At one point the area darkened a bit in color and looked like a mild bruise. No fevers, no headaches, no other side effects; it was all local. To this day I have no clue what bit me.
I live in the California central valley, in the suburbs. Does anyone care to figure out what bit me?
(Pic not related, but have some nice fungus)

Hello everyone, I've been having a really hard time house breaking my two male dogs ( a 3 yr Papillon and a 2yr King Charlies Spaniel. both Neutered.) They used to be terrible, then I started crate training them. But it seems every 3 weeks or so, they act up. I'm at my wits end, now I am living back home for a bit and my father is telling me I'll have to give one up if it doesn't stop.
They really perfure my father's room to have their accidents in, I think this is more of a dominance issue then a house breaking issue. My father is particulary harsh on them, sorta a bully! :[ Both dog's are in excellent shape, they've been to a vet resecently. I need some really powerful advice so I don't loose my furry compions. I'm so paranoid now, I'm taking them out every two hours.
What do you think? Can I finally get them to stop for good?

I really hate these things.
I got a kitten a while ago from a friend, brought it home, and noticed flea eggs in my bed.
I've set off one of those poison mist cans to kill them, washed my sheets, and did that whole number.
Despite all these efforts, the came back, no eggs on my bed though, and now there are quite a few fleas jumping around my room.
They don't seem to be spreading anywhere else in the house, and every time I'm in my room, I can catch a few trying to suck my blood.
Every time I sleep in my bed, I wake up with new bites by my ankles.
I was hoping that someone had a good remedy for getting rid of fleas.
