I need some help /an/ I will be getting a pool in a rural area in the next month or so, and I need to know how to deal with wildlife around it. How do I prevent animals from falling into the pool? and if they fall in, what dangers do they pose? (Parasites, Bacteria, Diseases, e.t.c) Any Questions and All Help is appreciated.

Did you guys ever lose your special /an/ ones? My qt just suddenly died after no more than 20 hours, i'm quite sad about it. Found him on the ground unable to fly, gave him shelter and fed him, was well and everything when i left him. 3 hours later found him on his back..

So my mother has a tiel and after 5 years of having him she can't stand his screeching and the mess he causes. Should i just release him in a park or give him to someone else?

Why do people like these "dogs"? They are literally the dumbest breed ever invented. A prime example of why chinks can't breed animals. They were designed to be objects to dress up, not to keep as an actual pet. As a result these fucking things are dumb as shit, ugly as shit, dirty as shit, and cannot be disciplined. These dogs were meant to be CONSTANTLY groomed so they would look like dolls. When they aren't, they look like hideous, balding and grumpy old men. Nobody takes the time to groom these ugly fuckers, so why get one? They shit and piss everywhere despite any attempt to train them, not because they are reluctant to learn, but because they are fucking retarded. They cannot be taught right from wrong. The only thing they can do is deficate on your carpet, bark at everything, and eat your food when you're not looking.

Post animals that look like something made up for a fictional setting. They don't have to be huge or look all that crazy, just neat animals that most people have never heard of. First thing that comes to mind for me is the Chinese water deer. A close second though is the maned wolf. And I literally just learned about the secratarybird from >>2366400 What are some of your favorite weird animals?

It's my boyfriends 21st coming up in July and he really loves rats, him and his ex used to have two but she got rid of them when they broke up. I would like to buy him a rat but I don't know much about them. Can you give me all info I'd need in terms of what type of cage, what size cage, what type of sawdust (not sawdust, they can't have that but whatever the alternative is) and just general rat buying tips. We have a really small, one room bachelor flat but I'm willing to make it work?

What's the deal with girls and horses or whales/dolphins? Nine times out of ten if you ask one what her favorite animal is it will be one of these. I know it's a cliche or stereotype or whatever, but it really is true most of the time. They're good animals, sure, but I don't see why they above any others warrant such an obsession.

I just noticed today that my cat's butt has this huge lump, what is it? Before we adopted him, we were told that he had huge cysts on his head and back and had to get them surgically removed. So I think he's starting to get them again. I texted it to a vet tech friend and they think it's a cyst and it just needs draining.

DOG WALKING STORIES thread >walking dog just now in a dog park across the road from some condos >dog squats down to pee >elderly woman yells at me from her condo to pick up the dog's poo OR ELSE >point out that there is no poo because my dog only peed >she curses me out while crossing the street to point at the non existant poo >when she arrives, she is out of breath and quickly realizes there is no poo >she becomes even angrier and instead of apologizing, tells me i'm an asshole >turns back to go to her condo >half way back she slips on a dog turd and gets it all over herself >screams at me to help her >walk over and drop a dog poo bag on her lap

Post old species. Not things as "Horseshoe crab" (Order Xiphosura) because Xiphosura is not a species. I'll start with Triops cancriformis (Middle Triassic)

Should they all be sterilized and allowed to die off? I've watched a lot of dog attacks online, the majority executed by pits, and the way they wag their tail and attack almost nonchalantly is disturbing, just tearing up flesh and loving it I used to believe it was mostly the owners' fault, but I dont think anyone whose seen them attack first hand or online knows just how it goes down What does /an/ think ?
