I just gave my cat a listerine strip, and now he is running around drooling, shaking his head, and opening and closing his mouth as to chew.
I'm really worried, he is salivating a lot and acting insane.
Should I take him to a Vet?
Before you ask, I joking offered him one, I didn't think he would just start eating it. They aren't poisonous to people... but I'm not sure what a single strip could do to a cat.

first time posting here, hello all
normally for this problem i would go to the vet, but the last time i did, they ripped me off for everything i have and didn't help me at all.
my dog has had a horrible cough for the past 2-3 years. i've been able to suppress it with some steroid medicine that the vet always prescribes her with, but it's very bad for dogs to stay on steroids long term.
i've looked up and down the internet and haven't found an answer.
she had her heart and lungs x-rayed two years ago and she looked very healthy, and every time they listen to her heart and lungs, they say it sounds healthy. so that rules out any problems with her heart and lungs i think.
kennel cough goes away on its own after a couple weeks, so it can't be that either.
i started giving her some benadryl because she also started sneezing/snoring. well the sneezing and snoring went away but the cough is still there.
the cough gets worse with exercise/excitement.
also she is a border collie, not a toy breed dog with tracheal collapse or any other things toy breeds are prone to.
tl;dr, anyone ever have problems with a coughing dog before?
