help /cgl/ I need your opinions and advice
I'm bored of doing last-minute rush-job closet cosplays for whatever con I'm attending and I want to take my cosplay to the NEXT LEVEL, but what I want to do is somewhat tricky considering I have basically no experience with alteration or costume design (however, my mother is an ex-designer so I've got access to sewing machines, dressmakers dummies, fabric, probably anything else I'd need too).
Right now I'm reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and trying to decide who I want to cosplay. My problem is that most of the characters I really love are from Part 3 onwards, 90% of which have Stands . While it'd probably be easy to find a green Gakuran and customise it slightly so I can cosplay Kakyoin, it'd be much harder for me to put together a fucking good looking Hierophant Green and find one of my friends willing to wear it. Same deal for Part 3 Dio, with the added problem that in addition to creating Za Warudo I'd have to work out how to make Dio's crazy looking jumpsuit and shoes. I don't really want to shy away from these characters because they'd be too hard to make work, but at the same time I'm very mindful that it'd be a total waste to put so much work into a two different cosplays when I don't have anyone lined up to wear the second one (especially considering it'd be mostly custom and I wouldn't have measurements or anything aaaa), and that it'd be kind of lame to cosplay someone from JJBA without their Stand.

>General skin and beauty thread for cosplay
HOLY COW, the ultimate "natural" formula to healthy, shinny skin and without acne. I learned it last week, thanks to some anon. It's mixing castor oil (to exfiloate and cleanse) and extra virgin oilve oil (to moisturize) the face.
I mix both oil into a small bottle and massage it all over my face, then I let it sink in. Afterwards, I wish it off with warm water. When I first did this, I thought my face is going to be thick and oily but surprisingly, face slightly dried.
After doing this a couple times, my face is now shinny, healthy and the acne is gone. I only do this twice per week, or three times (usually every other day) because this is powerful stuff.
Next up ... how to clean your hair, the natty way.
