Hey /cgl/, I'm looking to do a Dr. Doom cosplay next year and I'm having a bit of difficulty regarding the armor pieces of the outfit. I've been searching for some matching pieces (arms, shoulders, gauntlets, thighs, shins, feet) and it's been difficult to find a set that matches well. There are full sets I could buy but I wouldn't be using a large amount of it so that would sort of be a waste. I've been checking around to see if someone can make some pieces for me, do you guys have any recommendations regarding buying armor?
Anime-related items in everyday fashion

Do you think it's possible to wear anime related items with everyday clothes without looking like a weaboo?
I'm looking for inspiration on how to incorporate anything fandom related (I don't really like the word but can't find a better one) items, be it clothing or accessories, without being too over the top or tacky.
Cosplay items can work too.
There was a lolita thread a while ago with coords inspired in series or characters but I'm not a lolita and would love to see pictures of other fashion styles (preferably inspired by japanese street fashion. I'd try /fa/ but I don't think they'd be up for this). Also, the point is not exactly for the outfit to resemble a specific character.
In case you only have over the top styles like decora to post, you're welcome to say how'd yu tone it down or what items would you take from it and wear daily.
Coord pictures are welcome as well.
Pic related. Looks fun but a bit too excessive to wear daily
P.S.: I apologize for any shit english/badly constructed sentences, not my mother language.
