first time posting here, but figured you might have some advice.
I want to build a "Mech" bodysuit, similar to what you would see in Bubblegum Crisis, The Guyver, Iron Man etc...
I don't want to make it out of Metal or anything like that, but I would like it to look metal.
The suit should allow me freedom to move, and have some nice flashy feature, like a built in microphone and speakers, a camera with zoom controls, LED lights etc...
This isn't really a "cosplay" as I would like to make it an original design, but I assume this board would have experience with this sort of thing.
My Idea is to make the "shell" slightly larger than my real body, but use, like a glove with wires attatched to the fingers etc..., for hand movement...
How would you do this, what materials would you use, on your experience, what would the budget be like?

So, like many cosplayers before me, I'd really like to start doing Youtube cosplay videos (tutorials, etc). Are there any other (consistent) cosplayers that you follow? What sort of videos would you like to see more of? Any formats you dislike? I'd like to make this different from what's out there, but if it doesn't appeal to cosplayers, there isn't a point, is there?
