So, the last thread didn't exactly go to plan, but I think we should try again and have a discussion on the "Living Doll" movement in a wholly neutral or positive light.
That means, no shitting up the thread with your vendettas.
So, what do you think of the fashion as a whole?
Who's your favourite "Living Doll"?
Share doll-like makeup, hair and fashion tutorials or give advice.
A note to the janitor/mod. Drama is likely to occur in this thread, so if it gets out of hand instead of nuking the whole thing could you maybe just prune it?

First time cosplayer here, I read the sticky, but nothing in it was really helpful to me. I want to attempt to make this and it not look like shit, but I have no idea how to get started. With no tutorial anywhere to be found, can you guys give me any suggestions?
TL;DR I want to make pic related, and no tutorials. Help please.

What do you all think, /cgl/?
I want to cosplay as Hilda from Pokemon, but I have brown eyes. I'm no great cosplayer or anything, but I know that the good cosplayers would look down on me if I didn't wear blue contacts, but I have very sensitive eyes.
I bought a pair of blue contacts that are supposed to be fine for eyes like mine, but they still bother me really badly.
What do you think? Should I give up? Or would it be okay to just have brown eyes?

Dear seagulls, I need some advice on conditioners.
My hair is long, oily at the top and dry/wavy/frizzy the rest of the way, and it's also colored to hell and back.
Natural black to pink to dyed black again, with only some pink parts now. 1/3 of my hair is natural, the rest is what I call "dark rust" colored.
I use lush's jumping juniper shampoo bar which does wonders for my oily ass scalp, and I use the american cream conditioner. Does WONDERS for my hair, it's never been this bouncy, light, hydrated, or smelled so fucking good. I've been buying it for almost a year now and I'm only now not wanting to pay the $30+ price tag for the big bottle.
I've tried garnier fructis shit but it makes my hair disgusting, as do most drug store brands.
Also lush/higher end vs. drugstore shit
