So, because this is cosplay I'm coming to you guys instead of DIY, even though this is probably more up their alley. They're a strange and dingy bunch.
I'm doing a couples' cosplay with my girlfriend, she's Touko from Pokemon and I'm N. The problem is that I have several accessories I can't very well find, so I have to make them. Namely, the pendant and bangles in the picture.
So I've been thinking that they can't be THAT hard to do in Sculpey clay. My father is a very precise and detail-oriented man, good with his hands, so between he and me, I figure we can do it.
Except... I haven't the vaguest idea what to do with clay. So I need your help, /cgl/, do I form, paint, glaze, and bake? Can I use a gold-colored spray paint or do I have to use acrylic paint? Is there a better way to do this altogether?
