Hey /cgl/, I made this thread late last night but passed out too early to see any responses.
This is The Penatrator. Yes, it is a yard long dildo on a stick. It's a weapon in the Saints Row video games, and it's one of the more memorable ones.
Before you all get on my tale about this, let me explain;
1) I'm not going to be taking this thing to conventions.
2) It's for a personal photoshoot and Halloween ONLY. After that, it'll probably be put on a stand in my work room for decoration
3) See 1
So, now that we have that cleared, how would I go about making this? I'd assume I'd need a mold of some sort, but I've never attempted to work with rubber silicone or foam before. So, how would I go about doing this?
Any and all help is appreciated!

Came here once before for help, and you people were super awesome with the advice and links.
Currently I'm working on a Uncharted 2 Nathan Drake cosplay, and while getting the clothes and making the props has been great, finding the piece the piece that will bring it all together is become a hassle.
It's not Nate Drake without his gun holster, and I'm having a bitch of time finding one. No experiencing in leatherworking otherwise I would. Anyone know where I can grab one similiar in style to the one he wears in UC2?
Pic related. Thanks in advance for your help.

Know it's not exactly cosplay, but still you guys are probably the best to ask.
As everyone knows, Halloween isn't far off. Since I haven't dressed up or anything for years, I've been feeling the itch. Thing is, don't know jack about sewing nor do I possess anything to even start. And I'm not going to go out and buy some shitty looking Halloween costume premade. I've always preferred to make my costumes.
Thing is, I can't think of a lot of things right now that would require little to no sewing. What are materials that you guys like to work with that are fairly cost effective, but can still look good when you pour time into them? What types of costumes do you guys make that require little sewing?
