I've been cosplay for 13 years. In this hobby, that means I'm practically ancient. Seen a bunch of dramu, know a bunch of dramu, seen cosplay "divas" come and go. I know I'm not the only one, and I know there have got to be people who have been doing this longer than me.
Let's talk about the good old days, nutso fucking drama of days past, nutso fucking drama that people who are still around would like to pretend never happened.

Hey guys, I've been a bit strapped for cash lately, and so I'd like to offer up my services as a freelance cosplay armor builder. I'm fully willing and capable of doing just about any hard armor parts/suits you need (By "hard" I mean anything that isn't mainly composed of fabric), as well as props, weapons, etc. I usually do this stuff for people I meet at cons for a good chunk of change, but seeing as business has ran a little dry lately, I'm willing to work for much lower commission rates. If there's legitimate interest I'll gladly post my contact info and we'll work out details. Also I'm happy to post more of my stuff if you want.
(pic related obviously, I've done a lot of Halo stuff)

Planning on going to Chicago Tardis next month and hoping to meet the 7th Doctor (Sylverster McCoy) and Ace (Sophie Aldred), from Doctor Who.
Looking for help improving my 7th doctor cosplay though. I modified the panama hat I got, by removing the lining and band, replacing it, but as you can see, the hat's bottom is a bit floppy, where the actual hat curves up. I'm also thinking its brim is too long so I might cut it.
Also the top of the hat has the indent most hats have, rather than being a round perfect hat. I tried putting a bowl under and ontop of it to try and get the material to form into that shape, but after weeks of leaving it sitting like that, it still reverts to its original shape.
