inb4 ageplay. the thing is that yeah, AP dresses are supposed to make you look like the little girl, but not the modern day or even existent little girl. they're supposed to make you look like a little girl pink sugar princess. that has nothing to do with ageplay though.

Anonymous 2013-04-16 19:40:34 No.6771557
At least they're making the ageplay jokes for us. I kind of expect a bunch of sissy dresses to be made with replica fabric.

Least they didn't include the rattle in this picture.
It doesn't look like anything special; it's nice, though.

I'm agreeing with this. Ageplayers want to dress up like little girls, not older girls who want to dress up like princesses. The thing with something like this is, yes it has child motifs on it, but that's as far as it goes. It's not something a child would wear.

Are there hat boxes in the print? I can't tell. What baby room has hat boxes?

I'd wear the shit out of a print with fancy old-fashioned hats and decorative hat boxes.

It looks like a boring Dreamy Doll House/Toy Parade hybrid.
Nothing special about the overall look or any of the dress designs. If I saw it from a distance I wouldn't even know it was a new series.
Might be kind of cute to wear if you had an actual baby though.

Never liked APs OTT toy prints, I prefer when they do simpler or more brighter prints like Fantasic Dolly or Eternal Rose Bouquet

>>
Anonymous 2013-04-16 20:08:00 No.6771625
I think it's immature and yes it does look like ageplay.

But I don't sit around and tell other people what they should and should not buy. I still support a lot of Angelic Pretty prints, I just don't buy ones that are pants-on-head retarded like this one. It's not a big deal.
Support what you like, and ignore what you don't. Simple.

Anonymous 2013-04-16 20:11:13 No.6771630
I didn't like it from the second I saw the name.

Maybe hat boxes in another print would be awesome. Hat boxes are great. but
>baby room
noooooope i'm never buying this, I couldn't dare answer anybody who asks what print that is.

This is ageplay.

Sorry, binkies, rattles, bottles, building block...really? You're gonna tell me a non-ageplay adult would walk around in public with this, with a straight face, and tell everyone it's just street-fashion in Japan, and that they're just trying to be adult-like 'princesses'? L.o.l.

an ageplayer wouldn't wear this either, i ageplay and i'm not going to pay 400 bucks for a dress that i need to fingerpaint in

i really wish lolitas would stop speaking for the ageplay community, most of wouldn't wear this shit and we think you're dumb for wearing it in public

so lemme get this straight.

Lolitas think this is dumb. Ageplayers think this is dumb.

So then who the hell is Angelic Pretty trying to market to?

The print is boring and the baby theme really rubs me the wrong way. Sure, buy it if you want to, but I would never for the life of me be comfortable wearing a dress with baby strollers and rattles on it.

It's funny how they never said anything like that. But the point is, this isn't ageplayer crap it just has child motifs on it.

Child motifs =/= ageplay.

That. Fucking. Name.

How does that not scream ageplay? You can't just dismiss this as not ageplay and then complain that people see sweet lolitas as ageplayers. The typical person is going to look at this and think that there's some fetish behind this.

When I first saw it all I thought of was the Infanta dress, Dolly House. it looks ridiculously similar. Way to be, AP.

A typical person is going to look at any lolita, hell, anyone dressed in alt fashion and assume there is some fetish behind it.

What I was trying to say is that simply because of child motifs being present it doesn't make it childlike or something a child would wear. If you wear a dress with wolves on it people don't assume you're a dog-fucker do they? No, because dog-fuckers wear other kinds of shit.

i splurge on clothes, just not clothes i'm going to act like a kid in. it's like buying lingirie made of the finest silk, what's the point if you're gonna fuck in it anyways. plus as a child i rarely wore dress unless i was going to church and who want's to roleplay going to church?
