So, recently I tried Popeyes for the first time, my whole life I've only eaten KFC because it's the only place near me but a Popeyes opened up so I gave it a try. I got a spicy box meal that came with three decently sized chicken tenders, a handful of shrimp, a biscuit, and a small bag of french fries. And jesus, it was GOOD...first of all the spice was definitely there, deserves to be called spicy for certain which isn't always the case with fast food, the shrimp was shrimp...I mean not much to say there, was fine. The chicken tasted significantly better than KFCs to me, more flavorful, but what I really want to talk about here is the breading....KFC breading is tasty, very salty and greasy....but this shit was great, it was CRUNCHY, crispy, not limp and wet like KFCs, every bite was a crunchy delight...the biscuit was better than KFCs, which are ok but honestly kind of bland and dry, this biscuit was BUTTERY AS SHIT....delicious. As for the fries, they were good...wouldn't expect a chicken place to have good fries but they were definitely better than your average McD/BK/Wendy fries. Now I got two sauces for my meal, cocktail sauce for the shrimp which was really good, and ranch dressing for the chicken...the ranch I gotta say had a really strong buttermilk taste that to me kinda fails compared to the ranch at most other places, but that can be forgiven considering I didn't even need it to enjoy the food. I feel like I've wasted years not eating Popeyes, what the fuck /ck/ ? Pic semi related

Thoughts on Soylent? Soylent is a nutritional drink, intended to cover all human nutritional requirements for an adult so that it may serve as main or sole food. I just got some, the taste grows on you and my body reacts fine to it. Has anyone else been trying this? im curious to know more about long term experiences.

Hey, co/ck/s. I'm really up in the air with an actual future right now. Probably going to finish school so I don't look like a complete retard being a college drop-out when I only had 2 months to go, but I just don't feel like going into the "real" world. I really enjoy cooking. So, in my quarter life crisis (it's really more like a 1/3 life crisis, I'm 22), I'm deciding that I'm going to start seriously looking into starting a food truck. I'm thinking burritos and sandwiches with a loose and ever changing menu, depending on the ingredients I can get for the day. I don't know anything about running a "business" per se, but I've been told I make amazing drunk food, so I would definitely stay around campus and maybe downtown during lunch time to get the 9-5ers. Does anyone on here have any experience with basically dropping everything and starting a food truck? How difficult is it? How much does a "decent" truck cost? Let's keep it pretty general right now, as I've just had this idea in the past couple of weeks. Should I start small with maybe just a cart until I could afford a truck if they're expensive? How dumb am I?

It's basically the smashed up roots of a plant, that when mixed in cold water and swallowed, numbs and tingles your tongue and lips, then goes on to produce what could be described as a 'lucid drunk' like state. A sense of well being or even euphoria, talkativeness, and loss of co-ordination. Without the blackouts and doing things you might regret later. The taste is like drinking dirt flavoured chunky porridge, or if you strain it (which I don't recommend), dirt flavoured shitwater.
