turkey burgs

Tomorrow I plan on making a couple turkey burgers from extra lean ground meat. I know I'm pounding some curry powder into them but what other spices would make them really flavorful and go well with the curry powder in them? Open to any suggestions

/ck/ how the fuck do i make good rice? i use a rice cooker and i've been experimenting for the past week and i just can't get it right. i've used chicken broth and bouillons, soy sauce, eggs, sriracha, various spices. i've added beans and mixed vegetables as well, but no matter what it always tastes bad. i have to force myself to eat it though because if i don't i'll starve. any tips or fullproof methods?

I need at least two side dishes + garnish for veal involtini (prosciutto, parmesan) served with creamed brandy sauce. Would also love some plating tips & tricks that will impress.

Radishes

How are radishes (regular little red radishes you see in every produce cooler) generally treated as a food? They have been a staple in my household for as long as I can remember, always eaten cold and raw, sometimes with vinegar or salt. I can chalk that up to my mom being Polish Europoor undermensch, but she never incorperated them into any cooking or dishes that I can remember, just cold, raw fucking radishes. Who eats radishes? In what ways are radishes traditionally prepared?

What is the best condiment for fries /ck? For me, I'd have to go with mayo/fry sauce most of the time, for seasoned fries, a picante sauce is good, and for curly fries, horseradish sauce all day. What are your preferences?

Retard with groceries here. The only reason I don't go to the grocery store is because I feel retarded about what I should buy. Is there a babby's generic grocery list?

What are some good recipes for when you're cooking for a senior, particularly really old seniors in their 80's who have dementia? I've taken my grandmother in, to avoid having to send her away to a home. I've been making things like turkey bacon, eggs, and oatmeal for breakfast, chicken and rice soup, but that's pretty much the extent of my old people food cooking knowledge, I'm a fat as fat ass and I like to make a lot of rich, greasy, fried foods. Grandma's 85 and has heart and blood pressure problems, so fried chicken and greens will kill her.

Convince me to buy a pressure cooker. I mean, what can I do with it that I cannot do with anything else in my kitchen, namely a regular pot and a stove?

What do y'all think?

Anyone here into breadmaking? I'm making my first sourdough starter, and I'm on my third day of feeding it. The second day was a bit strange, with blue dots on the starter, but after some googling I figured out those are normal, and decided not to toss it. This third day was something special, though. The Sourdough starter was crackling and popping when I pulled it out, and when I removed the saran wrap cover, it smelled very acidic, strongly of vinegar. Also, when I went to discard half and feed it, I discovered the actual starter was hiding a small amount of grey-ish liquid, which I discarded. I later found out that's a natural alcohol. I fed it, stirred it, and now it's back under the sink. Is what's going on natural? Should it be so... Aromatic?
