Country: Norway Favourite/best food from country: School bread, venison (especially reindeer), Norwegian waffles with brown cheese, butter and jam. I really tried to pick just one but couldn't... We also have amazing seafood but i'm allergic to a lot of sea food.

Okay so we all know eating meat is ethical. But I travel a lot and there's a website similar to craigslist in my country. In the free section, like half of them are pets that irresponsible people are too fucking stupid to take care of. Now obviously I wouldn't be eating cats and dogs... But there's a shitload of ducks and geese and rabbits... All of which would cost you AT LEAST $20 in my country. The problem is they all say "to a good home". Is it unethical to pick these up on my travels to eat? I save money and curb overpopulation. But from a capitalistic perspective I'm utilising property against the wishes of the owner who only relinquished said property to me on the proviso I would do no such thing. Help. Incidentally would it be further immoral to send them pictures of their animals being served and eaten afterward and screencap the reactions and vitriol or nah? Like at the very least it would be some form of after the fact honesty, even if the intention was purely juvenile mockery.

Maybe use a cherry preserve filling and cover it in a milk or dark chocolate making it sort of like a cherry cordial.

What frozen pizza reminds you of your childhood? For me it's Tombstone. This was our go-to on nights when mom didn't feel like cooking or going out to eat. I had a Supreme last night and it was exactly same as it always was. I think it's better than Red Baron.

>Sugar and creamer? Ah no thank you. You see I drink my coffee black. I'm sort of like Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven. The tough cowboy type. Would you care to ask me how frequently I use sugar or creamer? Well go ahead, I've got time. Ask me. ... Glad you asked. >Short answer: none. >Disciplined answer: Haven't touched it in months. Probably old by now. I'm actually going through a lawsuit to get my local grocery store to reduce their sugar and creamer inventory. It's going well. I can't stand sugarlets or creamlets. Actually cut all of my old friends off who use. Why go through all of this trouble you ask? 3 words. 2 concepts. Discipline. Mental toughness. This is why friend. This is why.

A question for american bros

I've been wondering for some time, what's the real food culture in the US? I mean, what does the average american get to eat in his day-to-day life? From movies, shows and the internet I can guess: as long as you stay with your parents it's some decent cooking, though heavily relying on takeout, leftovers and microwaved stuff. Then when you get out of home it's a lot of fast food and take-away. I live in a completely different reality (italy), I enjoy cooking even though still at home (21), I'm not a pro but I have a good number of dishes under my belt and can provide for myself and improvize, so I have really no idea of what is life there Thoughts? I was just wondering how much is stereotype and how much is reality >how many times do you eat fast food/takeout? pic related, my favourite second course

Are these things good? I like whipped cream but I dislike the sugar content of aerosol cream and I can't exactly whip up a whole batch just for myself. Are the other things you can make with it good? Anything I should know before purchasing one?

Things to deep fry

Hey /ck/, Just a bit of blogging as a lead-in: I have to work on the 4th of July. I work as a manager at a fast food restaurant, so I know business is going to be very slow. I've decided to turn the evening into a deep fryer party, since I'm there with a few good guys and we have a bunch of time to kill, with access to an industrial fryer. Therefore, I'm looking for suggestions of the best things to fry up, without TOO much prep required. Definitely doing some candy bars, of which I wanted to include snickers, twix, and 3-musketeers. Beyond that, Im not really sure what to fry, so I'm open to suggestions of all sorts. Also, deep frying general
