> For too long, godless agronomists have harvested their Haram, Non-Kosher salt from a bland albino monoculture, pumped full of artificial sodium hormones and spliced with chloride transgenes. But now there's No-Chemicals Non-GMO Organic Halal Kosher Gourmet Himalayan Pink Salt! It's the perfect garnish for my Margarita made with All-Natural Unpasteurized Non-Homogenized Andean Tequila and Sustainably-Raised Free-Range Jhatka Aleutian Lime Juice.

I am 22 years old, and a mere five minutes ago, I tried bologna for the first time in my life. It was absolutely brilliant. It was so moist and smooth and packed with incredible savory flavor. I can't believe I've been missing out on this all my life. What are some good bologna dishes/sandwiches/recipes that you'd recommend, /ck/?

energy drinks

Usually I don't drink energy drinks. Most don't taste good, and caffeine dependency is something I try to avoid. That way when I need caffeine, it actually works. Been thinking of stocking up on some because of convenience and it's still pretty warm where I live for hot coffee. I'd cold brew, but this is for when I need caffeine unexpectedly. What are your favorites and why?

So I turned 21 pretty recently. I've always omitted wine and other liquor from recipes but now I can legally step foot in a liquor store. What are some alcohol essentials for cooking? Goulash unrelated but tasty

How do people even get fat 2500 calories a day is quite a lot. How do people have time to buy, cook and eat above it every single day?

I cook for a living. Do you? I'm a line cook with more responsibilities than normal. Telling chefs what to order, coming up with specials, training new people.. Ect. Has any one here climbed the ranks in a kitchen? I only have on the job training and independent cooking experience. What is more vital education or experience ck/? Pic kinda related wish I had a hotter prep cook.

how to make a moist cake?

I love to bake things from scratch but I always have the trouble of my cake not being moist enough. How do I fix this? Also any tips on frosting that isn't too sweet? My girlfriend hates frosting that is overly sweet and I want to try and find other flavors that work. So far strawberry and lavender/honey has been good. And anything with cinnamon

Mayo thread

I bought a big ass jar of mayonnaise because my friend told me that there is this thing called the "tomato sandwich" that you're not really American unless you've tasted, but it has to be eaten at the peak of tomato season with heirloom and such. And that's done. It was really good. I'm the first generation of my family born in this country so I don't really know what the fuck to do with the rest of the jar, other than dipping fries in it, and I don't really feel like frying up 10 pounds of fries just to use this up before it goes bad. Is there anything I can do with this that's not a one way ticket to hamplanet status? I'm also not interested in eating BLTs every day for the next month. It seems like traditionally, one pairs it with military grade carbohydrates, am I right or am I wrong? Please, don't just say "exercise", I have a pretty decent exercise program already, which goes with my existing diet. I'm hoping not to add 1500 calories of pure carbs every day just to use up a jar of mayo, so if it comes down to it I'll just throw it out.

My first attempt at charcuterie. Italian bread, olives, garlic, gouda, goat cheese with honey, prosciutto, and churrizo. How'd I do? Also tips for next time?
