The eternal debate

Here is my situation: For the last year and a half, my food budget has been $50 per 3 months. I have to keep this up for about another year. I've made it work so far with large bags of white rice, various extremely cheap dried beans, sometimes cans of vegetables, and, whenever I feel like treating myself, some ramen. In addition to the strict budget, I have to make sure that any food requires no refrigeration, and has as long a shelf life as possible, due to constant uncertainty of living conditions and location, and in case I suddenly need to stretch what I have out over a much longer period than anticipated. I have plastic buckets and a small barrel I use for storage. For reference, I live in the southern US, as south as south gets, and I weigh about 130lbs. The only realistic choice for nearby shopping is walmart. For meals, I have been boiling the rice about a cup or so a day, adding in beans or mixed veggies of varying amounts, tossing in whatever spices I can get my hands on, and just slopping it into a giant sealable container I eat out of whenever I have the time. I'm still alive, so it must be nutritious enough, but this is no way to live. Not for this long. How could I be doing better with these limiting factors in mind? Could I get much more out of what I'm already buying, if I just put more effort into cooking? Are there better or at least more varied ingredients possible with a budget like this, and the shelf life/refrigeration restrictions?

White chocolate is the best chocolate. Real cocoa is inedible. What you know as "chocolate" is so full of butter and sugar that it completely alters the flavor profile of the cocoa bean. It's like taking some cranberries, juicing them, and then adding orange juice, apple juice, and sugar and saying "I love cranberries!" No, you don't. You don't love chocolate. You love white chocolate with disgusting, inedible garbage beans thrown into it for no reason. You can all stop pretending to hate white chocolate now. I know you were just conditioned to think this way by emulating what you saw and heard on the tv.

>spent 2 hours making pasta entirely by hand because that's the "correct" way >it tasted exactly like store-bought stuff, but slightly worse >I just wasted my evening on a meme food The only thing Italy deserves is a nuclear holocaust. Fuck Italy and their shitty "handmade pasta is le best XD" bullshit.
