Time for a soda thread. You know, carbonated beverages sweetened and spiced with all sorts of good shit. You may call it pop depending on your region, or a seltzer/coke if you're a scrub.
Here, we're gonna rank our favorite sodas of each type we can think of. Don't take my list as definitive; if you think of another soda, add it.
If you're even considering posting a soda that has HFCS/"corn sugar" in it, get the fuck out. You don't deserve to be here, let alone post on /ck/ altogether. This thread's for people of taste.
NOW, let us begin.
On this one, there are some close competitors, but I'm gonna have to go with Nichol Kola. It tastes like a fucking gingerbread house... so many good spices that give it a real tartness that doesn't taste like citric acid. Warms the heart and soul. Highly recommended - IF you can find it. Runner up is Fentiman's Curiosity Cola.
God, so many good ones... I'm gonna have to take the cop-out here and go with Bundaberg's Lemon-Lime and Bitters. It's a unique soda because of what the zing of the bitters really does for the drink. Accentuates the natural flavors of lemon and lime into something rather pleasent, if requiring a refined pallete. Relatively easy to get ahold of too, in those iconic pull-tab bottles.
Even if it's to deny Bundaberg another award for their fucking delicious Peachee soda (literally tastes like real peaches in a bottle, get some), I'm gonna give this to Americana's Huckleberry soda. As somebody who's ingested huckleberries in ever baked-good form imaginable, I have to say this gets the taste spot on - not too tart and smooth all the way down.

So I've never really been into coffee that much before, but I saw a little french press in a store the other day and figured why not. First few cups have been pretty tasty, it's a small french press so I've just been using a small scoop (came with the press) of Maxwell house, adding boiling water (enough for just under one mug) and letting it steep for three minutes before pressing it. Then I'll add a little bit of milk and it's off to the races.
My question is, what kind of coffee do you co/ck/s enjoy, and recommend I try? I'm looking for something fairly strong.
