i just got my ebt card in the mail about a week ago, and am looking for tips/tricks on how to use it. from what i've learned, you can only use it for 'non-prepared' foods, but are there any loopholes to this (like take-and-bake pizzas)? my local gas station got this shake machine recently, but unfortunately since they are 'made' in the store you can't use ebt to buy them.

My supermarket has just started to carry a ton of Caribbean ingredients - pigeon peas, Jamaican curry powder, jerk marinade, ackee, collard greens, etc.
Other than jerk chicken, curry goat, and rice & peas (holy crap this stuff is amazing) got any good Caribbean/Jamaican recipes or dishes worth looking into?
Cheap, easy homemade pizza?

Tried making some homemade pizza recently. The goal was cheap, easy, and delicious. Barbeque, pineapple and chicken. Used a stupidly-easy dough recipe I found after 5 seconds of Google. My slightly modified version:
3.5 cups flour, 2 1/4 tsp yeast, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp salt, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 cup water.
No need to wait for it to rise or anything. Tasted good. Going to consider getting some healthier oil and perhaps an actual pizza stone (used a regular baking pan).
As far as ingredients go, I just grabbed some Sweet Baby Ray's (instead of red sauce), slathered that faggot up and plopped down some canned, pre-cooked chicken and canned, diced pineapples.
Considering how retardedly cheap and easy this was, shit turned out great. Put it in the stove for about 45 minutes, and it made enough for days. Any tips on how I might improve it?
