General tea thread Alright, guys. I'm getting into teas real hardcore, my girlfriend got me hooked. Today I dropped a Benjamin for a starter kit of sorts: -Ceramic Teapot with infuser -Tin teacups -Tea Tins -Travel set with infuser -Forty USD in 2oz. Green Tea Pearls and 2oz. Black Tea. All loose leaf. I'm going to market tomorrow to find white tea balls, a rooibos, and an oolong. Any tips on figuring out how to differentiate between good quality tea and shit tier? I know the basics, loose leaf trumps bags, and I've taken time to memorize tea grades.

I recently purchased this pancake pan overseas. I want to make some freakin' adorable pancakes with it, but I've found myself coming to a dilemma: how do I flip the pancakes? Do I just flip them in the air and hope they land properly in the mold? Or should I cook them slowly at a low temperature and not flip them at all? Thanks, /ck/

I cooked some Central Market uncured bacon in the oven this morning. WOW. - muscle/fat ratio is over 50% - actually tastes like pork, smoke, salt, and fresh ground pepper - doesn't smell or taste like "bacon" I was impressed with it. After so many shitty premium/luxury purchases I was glad I found one that could be justified on occasion. What luxury purchases do you honestly think matter vs don't?
