Question: Are there any cheaper alternatives to Jameson Irish Whiskey? My roommate insists on Jameson, and while I'm not trying to be an asshat and down him for it, it's almost $30 dollars for a 750. I was just wondering what else I could recommend to him. Also, would love some rum and tequila recommendations for my personal cabinet. Plan on drinking the rum with juices and the tequila is for bite-the-lime shots.

Looking to make a chipotle lime sauce and I want some opinions. I made a sauce a few days ago and tasted great right out of the food processor, but after heating it to sterilize it and storing it in a jar in the fridge, the flavors turned foul after a few days. I was thinking just doing pic related with 4oz of lime juice, 1oz of white vinegar, and a few drops of liquid smoke. Thoughts?

So never made stir fry before (not much of a cook, planning to change that) Ive got some asian stir fry mix (I know your probably going to tell me to cut my own veggies julienne or some shit, but thats a bit much) How should I start it? Ive got some fish for it. Planning to put some butter and olive oil in a pan with garlic and chili, add fish, fry for a bit, add veggies, add soya sauce and ginger and some pepper. Serve with quinoa. So I just made a pot of spaghetti with just parsley, salt, and butter. It smells like ammonia, and I ate about two plates now. My stomach is on fire and I noticed a very weird feeling in my nose every time I brought a chunk to my mouth/chewed it. What went wrong?
