Yesterday, I took a dump at work and when I looked down the toilet bowl was red. Not dark red, but blood red. My shit was reddish purple and it was pretty gruesome. After thinking I was bleeding out or had cancer, I remembered that I ate lots of beets a couple days before. That is when I regretted flushing. I work in a federal building and it would be hilarious to leave weird shits in the toilet for my unsuspecting coworkers. What are some foods that will help me do this? Not just smell, but looks. I'm going to eat lots of beets on the weekend and try again for Monday. I'll also eat lots of asparagus and leave a horrible piss in the toilet and of course coffee piss as well. Ideas? I'd like weird looking dumps - a snaker that pokes out of the water or circles the bowl would be ideal, but can one plan for such miracles? Thanks /ck/

I love Pickles. So tons of those. You might ask "Why so many sauces?". I'm not sure. I love the Sweet Onion sauce, and I love both of the Vinaigrettes.I can actually taste the Sweet Onion Sauce, as well as both of the Vinaigrettes... I don't find them to have a clash of tastes. Plus, given Subway's bread is so..."present" and "noticeable", I like having a lot of sauce on there. Also, the veggies soak up quite a bit of it. It might sound like one of those "monster creations", but I also grew up liking mixing every single soda from the fountain, so maybe I just have a strange palate. What about you? How often do you plan on taking advantage of "Sub"tember? I've already gone twice. >_>

/ck/!!! /ck/!!! Why didn't you plant a garden this spring? There were Homegrowmen threads, all over /ck/ all year long, yet you did nothing, nothing! You gave excuses like "muh apartment is too small." or "I live in a basement without windows" as excuses. You didn't even grow some sprouts in a jar! You never bettered yourself, but you kept posting in those threads anyway. Why? Look! Look at all these organic strawberry plants! Do you know how many strawberries these things will produce next year? OODLES!!! The awesome thing is these have multiplied 100 fold and have hundreds of runners all over making new plants. I'll I have to do is plant the runners and have tons more plants and tons more strawberries for next year. No more strawberries imported from California for me, no sir. But, you /ck/, you will have to buy your strawberries from your local grocer and pray that they don't go mushy and moldy by the time you get home. You could have prevented this, had you planted a garden this year. ;_;

I dun goofed /ck/. I got up one morning after I cooked with this pan, I thought I will heat up the water in it and then clean with soap + water. I forgot to turn off the heat. It was on there 4+ hours. Can I save it/is it safe to use?

No, I'm not talking about how close McDonald's, Costco's or Sam's Club is, because you don't know where all that food actually comes from or how many miles it travels. I'm talking about local food grown and raised locally. How close is your local food source? Do you go out of your way to find local sources of food? Do you grow or raise your own food?

Hi /ck/, I'm currently growing a selection of chillies.They're all doing well, and I recently discovered these two cayenne peppers. Hello, /fit/ here. I'm having my semester abroad in Korea right now and I'm fascinated by the food industry there. There's calorie labels everywhere, even in fast food restaurant and everything seems to be low in kcal on default. Convenient store Gimbap (Sushi-rolls) have like 275 (the ones from GS25 have 375 for some weird reason), ice cream cookie sandwiches in American proportions for exactly 200 etc. Also, pumpkin porridge (170), Busan fish cakes (300-360 a bag), and delicious milk+cereal from Denmark milk (170). For people living in Korea, is there any convenient store food I have to try yet that's healthy? I like to eat a lot before lifting and want to expand my options. Also, Korean food thread, dumping some pictures from my semester so far.

Hey /ck/. I recently got a job offer to work on a cruise ship as Chef. I accepted, and was told I'll have 6 others at my disposal, and will be given full control over my menu other than the 3 signature dishes the cruise liner boasts. Thing is I'll be making frequent stops to Isreal, Greece, and soon Lybia. Most of my background comes from heavy Mexican and South American cooking. I'm thinking I should learn some Mediterranean, Middle eastern and North African cuisine. I'm hoping theres someone here who has any suggestions? Whats good in that region? I'm afraid the most experience I have near that is Pakistani/North Indian. (Korma, ect)
