So I witnessed a funny recipe... the cook called it "roasted cream"
>whipping cream (unwhipped) in a bowl, placed in the oven
>when the cream got a surface, almost as if the surface was a little burnt, he stirred it and placed it back in the oven
>repeated the process, 3-4 times
>took it out, seasoned with salt and pepper, mixed it
WTF is this, is this an actual thing? I googled but came up empty.
