Just sippin' on a glass of that newish Laphroaig PX that you can only buy in duty free stores. They age this one in sherry casks for a while so it's got a nice sherry aftertaste I can just taste from under the peat. What is /ck scotchin' on?

Some people work during the weekend instead.
I can't into scotch. Tried a couple times but just couldn't do it.
So I'm about to drink some shitty locally made grain alcohol someone bought for me. It tastes like bread dough. It's not awful, but not terribly enjoyable after the first couple sips.

I don't understand why sherry cask scotch is so popular. And it's always the "only drink islay" types who go crazy over it. Do you guys realize there are other regions in scotland and some of them even produce whisky with characteristics that could be described as sweet? No need to adulterate your drink with spanish wine. Not that there's anything wrong with spanish wine but make up your mind about what you're drinking.
