Just finished One More Day and I have to say I liked it.
Peter's desperation is done well, the scene with Iron Man is great, so is every panel with Mephisto, possible outcomes of Peter's life interesting. Only the very last issue is bad, some pages real bad. They clearly cornered themselves. I like the idea that rather than giving up the merriage to save May, they gave it up for Peter to not end up miserable for the rest of his life and is allowed to find peace, but it was executed poorly and in a confusing way.
From the perspective of Spider-Man's status, I do not mind Peter becoming single and basically a younger version of himself. But, I really digged Back in Black and I think it is a pity they did not do one or two more arcs to develop Peter Parker as a felon. It is even a bigger pity, because BND was already planned, so they could have pushed Peter much further, since it would do no harm to the long-term mythos.

I did a thread like this a couple weeks ago and got a lot of great responses, they can be ideas for comics or just general writefaggotry. I guess I'll start.
Quite mousy girl, who keeps to herself does a lot of the time. Often finds herself drawing on a hill to get away from her noisy family. One afternoon she meets the ghost of a young boy who starts harassing her because he's bored. They start adventuring together, the boy trying to show her all the places he remembered when he lived are gone, and eventually they start searching for how he died. not 100% on the ending yet but it shouldn't be anything too heavy. short story, maybe short comic.
