using an inkjet printhead with water

I'd like to use an inkjet printhead to dispense water. I can't realy find any information on this, so I'm asking you guys if you think this is possible and if so, what would be the better option, a thermal inkjet or a piezo inkjet.

Alright, I need to get a shelf mounted onto my wall, but I'm shit at DIY. How do I fix it? I don't know what type my wall is, I think it's brick, but don't I have to be wary of wiring and stuff?

Putting GPS in car

Im supposed to be hooking one of these up to my little brothers car for my mom because he has been going places he shouldn't be going. Its a 12vdc to 5vdc buck converter that i will be using as a charger for a gps unit my mom bought a while back, and its going in a 2007ish honda civic. My question is where would be the best place to hook this up? It doesn't need to charge all the time, only charging while the car is on is fine since it can go for weeks without charging and only needs a few hours when it dies. Obviously a place very hard to get to would be great so he would never stumble upon it. But I have not had a lot of time to look inside the car to find a good spot. Also I am installing this tomorrow while he is away. tldr; Where is a nice secluded spot in a car to solder 2 wires to for 12v that isn't on a switch (ie; headlights, blinkers, etc.)

I need help. I went to go to install a new duplex receptacle, and then the person complained that they couldn't use the receptacle unless the light was on, so I changed it, and then I realized that the wires in the house weren't tinned copper, but aluminum, so I uninstalled everything and now I don't know how everything goes again. Don't worry, I drew pictures of the problem, and what I believe to be the correct ish configuration.

Replaced the carb on my lawn mower. I couldn't find an auto choke one, but this regular one fit. The issue I have is what is that other small fitting for. The large on is gas, the other I don't have anything to put into it.

Car Electronics/Radio questions

32 more posts in this thread. [Missing image file: ]
Sup /diy/, figured this would be the best place to ask. I received a Uniden Bearcat Scanner and CB Radio this past Christmas and I intend to install them in my 06' Ford Focus ZX3. I have already determined the best placement for them, installed two antennas, and ran all the wires for the antennas. My biggest hurdle right now is determining the steps to take to get the devices powered. I have a friend who works for a local FD, has installed multiple radios in his car, and is giving me advice (and hopefully assisting me) installing it. I know I need either a relay (to automatically power off the radio circuit) or a center-off toggle switch to change between (on when car running > OFF > battery override). tl;dr, I have plans but am out of practice with my EE skills and need help. >pic related is interior of car. Cables and ran to near map light (for scanner) and on dash (for CB). more detailed pics incoming.
