Should i take a Real Estate course before I purchase my first home?

Hey, Im 25 and want to purchase a fixer-upper home. I have the handyman skills but I lack knowledge of the processes surrounding purchasing and financing a home. I am at a loss where to start. I am considering taking a real estate fundamentals course at the local community college. >It is a 60 hour course that I think is mainly for those wanting a real estate license. >$400 bucks, 2 times a week 30 minute dive away from my house >the book is: Modern Real Estate Practice In Pennsylvania Is this the right path for me? I just want to feel educated before I purchase a home that I will live in for the next year or more. I work ESL during the day, and would rehab it in the night and weekends. Any ideas of other options, shared stories or tips? Thanks.

Hello DIY wondering if you guys could help me out with this i would like to see if it is possible to get this thing running on a phone-adapter, or even better, an adjustable adapter (instead of the 4 batteries it's needing now to operate).

For my 1:10 architecture presentation model I'm going to need a 83cm tree. There hasn't been given any restriction for what the tree should be made out of, but I'm thinking either wood or maybe layers of cardboard. It doesn't have to be an exact replica of the tree, but a simplified representation of it. I have access to most common materials for free (MDF, balsa, centafoam etc.). I would really appreciate some ideas on how to do this. Pic related, it's the tree from the sketchup file we were given.

I have a small garden attached to a private car park which is shared with other tenants. I would love a small fence (bonus points for a gate) but don't have much money. I live in the North west of England so its very windy and wet most of the year. Any tips on making this tall order a reality?
