Plaster cast. It's best to get some help with this, but you can get by without it.

It makes a perfect replica of your face which you can then do whatever the fuck you want with. Want a rubber mask? Take tool-dip or or any other form of liquid latex and paint it on the inside after spraying it down with a quick-release.

I do not want paper or cardboard, I want to make it out of something sturdier, but first I need a way to have it form to my face snugly. so I need a way to make a duplicate of my face shape.

Exactly. Only it's also used by every single prop studio out there. What you're looking for is COMMON FUCKING KNOWLEDGE. Google it.

Ive googled my question to google before, and the only thing I got was 12 dozen results for kids paper mache masks. As I am beginner into this medium I have no prior working knowledge towards this subject. But being a dick about answering my question is pretty easy huh?

Plaster of Paris, which you can buy from any craft store/hardware store. Look up youtube videos of making masks, Hollywood masks/makeup and make sure to put straws in your nose so you can breathe while it sets and you have noseholes later on.

Plaster itches / burns like a bitch. You'll moisturise to cream your face week after that.

Look up ALGINATE casts. It's sold in various dental supply stores. It's the thing used for taking teeth cast so it's safe for skin, fast drying and detailed. Usually they have various other materials and accessories too (like non stick coatings).

/!\ Never use Gypsum, it can get hot / burn if poured and setting in large quantities /!\
Whenever used with face usually gauze is laid on face and then very thin layer of plaster is smeared over it. NEVER something like taking straw in mouth and pouring a whole box around face.

Btw alginate is slightly rubbery when set, so small details wont break off when you remove the mould (like wrinkles, lip corners). With plaster sometimes even whole break off and stay on face, where it's hairy or curvy.
