So I've recently decided it's time for a new haircut. I've been going with a plain, medium length look with no real style for a while just because I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to take it in. Well I'm still not sure but I'm tired of having this shitty haircut so thats why I've come to ask /fa/ what would be suitable for me. I'm 5'9, 190 lbs (I know I'm fat, but I'm working on it and at least I know how to dress well) and I have red, very thick, very wavy hair (keratin shampoo/ conditioner/ smoothing cream has helped out a lot). I also have an oval shaped face and relatively thick facial hair that i get compliments on pretty regularly (If i don't at least some kind of facial hair I look like I'm 14). I've already had a hitler youth so I'm not really wanting to do that again. I'm currently leaning toward something like pic related, but i'm open to suggestions.

Can someone please explain to me McQueen and everyone in the fashion industry that does shit like this? I mean, its over-the-top, non-practical, and in quite a few cases aesthetically unpleasing (understanding that that's opinion; just sayin). But seriously, I don't get it. Or the fashion world in general really. Intense mommy and social acceptance issues? just for the fuck sake of doing it? Seriously, I need some help here; I honestly don't get it.
