>TL;DR: I want to make a pair of $150 N&F pants into a scarf
I have toyed with this idea for a bit in my head
so here's the story.
>I own a pair of 'rare' houndstooth N&F weirdguys. I fell in love with them when I saw them on tobi for $150 down from 300 a year ago, but that last pair of 30 vanished the day I got my pay cheque
>I guess there were only 150 pairs made, not that big of a deal really.
>searching endlessly, I stumbled upon a used pair 29 w on SF and hunted down the person who bought them and asked if he would sell, [un]luckily for me, he didn't fit them and I bought them off him for what he paid without question, $150
>So they arrived, and surprise, they didn't fit. sizing down in this model was a bad idea.
>They bassically look like leggings due to how they don't stack, they're 50% wool 50% denim and contour me like fucking yoga pants.
Anyways, this model is discontinued, and I thought about some complicated ways of stretching the legs with some DIY mechanical configuration, I think I know what I want to do with the pair instead of selling them
If I found them in size 30-31 I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy them for $150 all over again.
so, /fa/, no experience with this and I don't want to just take a box cutter to them, should I cgl? should I resist and just try to sell them back on SF?
what do /fa/, what do..
