Yesterday's thread got pruned before I came back from work. Let's try this again. I've been lifting more seriously and recovering as an Auschwitz survivor. The only problem I have is that I've been gaining more body fat than I'd like to and my body recomp hasn't been that great. Is it a good time to cut now that my lifts are half decent? Would you recommend keto or simple -500 cals deficit with 45/35/20 P/F/C? Stats: 5'3", 110lbs, 25% BF Lifting stats after 4 months of consistent lifting and eating +500 my TDEE (1900 cal) Bench: 55lbs Squat: 85lbs OHP: 35lbs Rows: 55lbs DL: 135lbs for 1RM and 115lbs for 1x5

Why haven't you added routine sprinting to your program, /fit/? > Sprinting requires exercise to be pushed into the aerobic ranges up the V02 max (ex 152 < 190 bpm for a 30yr male). The body has a limited amount of time it can maintain an anaerobic intensity due to the impurities that anaerobic metabolism create. To increase the intensity and duration you need more Type II (fast twitch) muscle mass and an increased ability to process the impurities created by anaerobic stress. >Third, Type II (Hypertrophy) muscle burns lots of energy and I mean a lot. Not only do sprinters have a lot of Type II mass from head to toe, they also have highly optimized circulatory systems. The high energy burn and increased blood flow lead to a very low body fat percentage giving a very defined 'cut' look.
