I have a legitimate question for you /fit/ I've never once ever, seen any girl ever take interest in a guy with a good body. And it seems every girl I talk to stereotypes any guy that goes to the gym as a stupid, arrogant muscle head like those from Jersey shore. They say they want "Skinny guys with long hair". Now I lift for many reasons such as strength, satisfaction, confidence, aesthetics and many others. But another reason I lift is for the ladies. I'm not afraid to admit that. It's nice to be admired by the opposite sex for all the hard work you put in at the gym. In all those high school movies you watch, shit like twilight, the guy has a decently built body and a six pack and the girls go crazy for them. So why am I being told by attractive girls repeatedly that they don't go for guys with great bodies? Have any of you actually ever, legitimately been complimented or admired by an attractive girl that you would date? If you have then greentext what you remember of the experience. Are these girls just lying to themselves and me? And another thing, this question is mainly for those who have achieved a nice body and have been lifting for more than a year: Did you build any confidence? Are you more confident now? like you can actually approach that girl you like and talk to her? You can tell that one guy that's been being a dick to you your entire life to fuck off?? I wanted to check the depth on my squat, got my brother signed up there today and am teaching him proper form (even if I can't apply it to my own form, I can at least teach him the correct way to do it). I've hit all my macros and got my calorie intake for the day, is it good if I go to the gym now and then come home, have some sort of protein and then sleep? I was planning on lifting tomorrow as this is my rest day but something came up and I won't be able too, plus I am pretty rested already.
