Hey /fit/, I'm recovering from a plethora of injuries and need a little assistance getting back to a decent physique. History - ACL ruptured (mostly healed - 2 years) Back injuries (Healed) Shattered feet (Make running a bitch, but mostly healed) Rotator cuff stressed (Make most lifting highly unpleasant) I'm looking for some help creating a skeleton body-resistance routine using Calisthenics, mostly. I do have one of those Iron Gyms, the pull up bar you hang in your doorway. I can run for a decent amount of time, making cardio a nice addition. I cannot however, in any form, lift. My body/wallet won't allow it. Any help is appreciated! I don't know where to start. Pic related: It's me, yes I'm 18. Will provide more pics/info upon request.

Should i do cardio on rest days? I feel pretty destroyed from my last workout and i think i might have injured my shoulder so i need a rest day but, i dont feel like doing nothing. Should i do cardio or should i do absolutly nothing all day?

Fatty here. So, I've been working out for almost two years now and changed my eating habits. I've become literally twice as strong but only lost a few pounds. I feel much better and I look much better. I've tried eating less but I just become tired and hungry which affects my studies negatively. Instead of changing my diet further could I just squeeze in another training pass and expect faster results?

ITT: stories of how we/people we know fucked themselves up with snake oil excercise regimens and products. We then learn from these experiences so we don't fuck ourselves up. Excercise smart, don't break yourself! My cousin fucked up her shoulders and back with crossfit (she started it six months back to lose some 20 pounds, didn't really excercise before, the usual story) and now needs cortisone shots to continue functioning.

What are the benefits of drinking 5litres of water a day other than obvious hydration. I have heard numerous sources say that body builders should drink about 5 litres a day. And one body builder says he drinks 5 during a bulk and 8 during a cut. Why should I drink so much?
