hello /fit/ I am currently Auschwitz mode and would love to gain some pounds. 16 pounds to be exact, which was what my doctor told me to gain to meet ideal weight. I am currently >6'0" >142 lbs What can be done to gain weight? I eat three meals a day and maybe grab a snack, but I have a had time eating more than that. Then I feel like I force it down my throat. What kind of foods is good for weight gain? It seems easy to just eat lots of carbs, but I don't think they do that much. Would love to eat more fat and protein. The last time I had a food journal I ate approx 2000kcal IIRC every day which is too little for me.

Standard grip barbell bench press is a useless exercise. I don't see why people still bother with this thing. -Little chest involvement unless very wide grip is used -Chest involvement comes at expense of rotator cuff safety -Chest could be worked more thoroughly and safely with dumbbell and fly work -Close grip bench press is superior for triceps work and much safer, OHP is superior for just about everything aside from the chest Why even bother?
