How to speed up my cut? Lifting 6x/week PPLPPLx, eating slightly above 'protein needed' so I end at about 1100-1300 kcal a day. Cardio 30 mins after every workout, jogging an hour every other day. Anyone else go through long cycles of working out diligently followed by long stretches of sloth and losing all progress? I need help, /fit/. My OHP isn't improving fast enough. >start lifting 6 months ago >190 lbs, fat, never lifted >change diet, count calories, measure protein, etc. >bench is 115lbs, squat is 135lbs, dead is 145lbs, OHP is 65lbs >6 months later >Weight has dropped to 164lbs with no help from cardio >Bench has improved to 185lbs, squat is 225 lbs, diddly is 275lbs >OHP is only 85lbs I've done form check with 3 different people. Did crunches (situps actuallu) on decline yesterday. I did it on max decline for like 3x10 (last reps of last sets were strugglin', I'll git gud for higher reps and add some weight). They're nice and fun. Abs are sore today. But how come when I do them I feel not 'burn' in my abs, but I feel the burn in my low back (spinal erectors)? They just contracting isometrically? They definitely aren't a prime mover :/
