Hey /fit/ Ex-fatty here, I have been cutting for the last year and I'm now at 16% bodyfat but still no visible abs, and since two months ago my progress has slowed down alot. So, I have been thinking that maybe I should just start bulkig. What would you reccomend /fit/? Bulking or keep cutting? And is it possible to gain a 6 pack while bulking?

I've been having some issues with my left bicep and forearm lately. I've been getting a feeling of strain and discomfort in it when I bench and also when i move my arm in certain ways when I'm not working out. I'm not sure what exactly it is. It's not happening in my right arm/forearm at all. Any ideas about what it is? Is it still safe to bench or am I making it worse? what are good rep ranges for compound lifts? i do a 4 day split and for bench, squat, deadlift and OHP i do a warmup set of 12, then 12 - 10 - 8 reps while increasing the weight each set. too many reps? should it maybe be 10 - 8 - 5? thoughts? also general questions thread

Holy shit the Hodge Twins suck. Never knew much about these guys. I'd heard them referenced on /fit/ but I never watched any of their videos. I just looked at their "What do we think about Starting Strength" video. Half the video was literally just the one guy pushing his brother toward the camera, and them laughing. Then they just said, "well this guys been lifting for a long time so I think he knows what he's talking about.." It was clear they did not even glance at SS to review it. Then they said "you won't build muscle doing isolation exercises," which is sheer bullshit. Obviously isolation isn't as effective for a bodily transformation, but you will build muscle in the targeted areas doing isolations. And then the video was over. How are these guys even remotely popular on YouTube? They're not informative and they're not even at least funny. They're obnoxious. Wtf?

I recently moved into my own place with my fella. We haven't had a fridge, cooker or washing machine for a while so we've been living off of packaged foods and microwavable items. Nobody told me how stressful transitioning into adult life was, even at 21 years old. Kinda lost my way for the last 2 months and I've been extremely unhealthy and I'm really feeling it. I feel bummed out as hell allday, erryday. Can we get a /fit/ girl/before and after thread going? Also, any advice for what I can start stocking up my very first fridge and cupboards up with would be very much appreciated.
