These amounts of vitamin C are far too low to get a significant benefit, or even compare with the amounts of vitamin C normally produced by most mammals under stress. Most every mammal produces its own vitamin C from its liver. Primates and shit like guinea pigs got a mutation so that they can't. How much does a normally functioning animal liver make? A DOG will produce on the order of 20-40 GRAMS of vitamin C per day. Put it under stress, cut it or some shit, and it can go up as high as 200 grams per day. BIRDS? Make like 5-8 grams/day. Torture those little bitches? 20-40 grams. Listen, listen folks. You want to avoid a cold? You want to avoid a flu? You need to stop fucking around with these placebo doses of V. You want 10-25 grams ascorbic acid per day. You got the flu? You can go as high as 100 grams per day by mouth. Google "bowel tolerance vitamin C." They did some research and found that the sicker you are, the more C you can take by mouth before getting the runs. If you're really sick, you can take nearly infinite amounts.

Holy shit the Hodge Twins suck. Never knew much about these guys. I'd heard them referenced on /fit/ but I never watched any of their videos. I just looked at their "What do we think about Starting Strength" video. Half the video was literally just the one guy pushing his brother toward the camera, and them laughing. Then they just said, "well this guys been lifting for a long time so I think he knows what he's talking about.." It was clear they did not even glance at SS to review it. Then they said "you won't build muscle doing isolation exercises," which is sheer bullshit. Obviously isolation isn't as effective for a bodily transformation, but you will build muscle in the targeted areas doing isolations. And then the video was over. How are these guys even remotely popular on YouTube? They're not informative and they're not even at least funny. They're obnoxious. Wtf?

Why does my Pre-workout make me hungry later on? I'm drinking plenty of water, so I don't think that its because I'm dehydrated. The pre-workout I'm taking is MP Assault. I get a hungry feeling in my stomach 15 minutes after I eat. What's the deal? Pic related. It's me thinking I'm about to go over my daily calories.

Alright /fit/, I come to you to ask for a favor... please, let me "have it". Tell it to me straight, but really mean it- I need you to slap me back into shape. I admit right here and now I am a compulsive binge-eater (more as of lately). I am slowly crawling up the scale, and am about 10lbs away from being considered overweight. I managed to lose about 15-20 lbs. last 2 years and keep it off for a while, and I still love jogging, but lately I'll go "in secret" to drive around finding things like subway, brownies, fried chicken, sushi, mac&cheese, and eat it through a sitting or a few hours. I am wasting tons of money, feel terrible, shitty, etc. I've tried puking it back up, only could get half. Thankfully I'm male so it's not as awkward but I still feel ashamed and try to be "sneaky" about it. I'll be at work and all I can think about is food, but I truly hate myself for it. I understand a good diet consists of a portioned amount of protein, with some carbs and fat, lifting/cardio, and not taking in excessive calories is the key to a good weight. I used to be obsessed with weight loss, and every morning I am not the same person who I become toward the evening- it's unbearable. Please, I don't want to get fat, I need your help, anyone been through this?

Started my workout Monday. Did some lifting, nothing more than about 100 lbs. Tuesday morning and the inside elbow (pic related) feels sore and when I try to fully extend my arms it hurts a little. Same thing with a little less pain today. Do I have DOMS or did I just fuck up?
